raw walnut butcher block from Perfect Plank in California.

this 57° cut (chosen for aesthetic reasons) was beyond the normal range of the miter saw and would come back to haunt me in unforeseen ways.

backside of one of the tables: rotary dimmer for incandescent bulb, PWM dimmer for LEDs, 12V DC transformer.

custom shaft extensions had to be made for the dimmers in order to pass through the wood fully.
